Romancing the Stars

Here on the Sunshine Coast in Australia, we are lucky to have a culture which is very supportive of authors and illustrators. Two organisations – Book Links Queensland and Voices on the Coast hosted an event called “Romancing the Stars”. 18 local authors and illustrators of books for children & young adults were invited to mix and mingle with teachers, librarians and supporters of children’s literature. It was a fun night!
